Superior Laboratories'  facilities are conveniently located in Galloway, Ohio, just outside of Columbus. Since its inception in 1990, Superior Laboratories has provided quality microbial and chemical analyses for a variety of Columbus-area food producers, environmental firms, and Realtors, as well as out-of-state clients.  Under the direction of its founder, James Gossard, Superior Laboratories has steadily expanded its capabilities.  By utilizing experienced personnel and operating with the most up-to-date equipment and methods available, Superior Laboratories offers consistent, informed analyses for its clients.

In addition to the standard quality assurance testing, water analyses and nutritional work typically associated with analytical labs, Superior Laboratories prides itself on its ability to customize analyses to meet the requirements of its clients, such as performing shelf-life and inoculation studies, or shifting to a Rapid Test when needed.  We also are able to identify microorganisms to species and conduct on-site investigations, such as air sampling for mold.  The ability to provide a diverse array of analyses, in addition to the most common environmental and chemical tests normally performed by other analytical laboratories, affords Superior Laboratories the flexibility to service most any client.

Superior Laboratories is committed to providing all of its clients with consistent and accurate analyses.  No contracts are required.  Reporting of results will be timely and in formats designed specifically for each client so that the data can be as useful as possible.  The experience to consult, the capability to provide a wide range of analyses and the willingness to customize reporting makes Superior Laboratories the logical choice for your food, water or environmental testing.

METHODS

Chemical and microbiological analyses are performed according to AACC, AOAC, EPA, FDA and USDA approved methods.  Other methods may be used at the request, or with the permission of the client.
